Last year, someone told me that one of my superpowers is being able to be vulnerable. For so long, I thought vulnerability made me weaker as a leader… but after 12+ years working with leaders, I know the opposite is true.

And today, on an executive coaching call (as I work toward my executive coaching certificate), that truth came up again and again: You cannot build trust with the people you work with (or the people who matter) if you can’t be vulnerable.
